Job Summary: This role is responsible for estimating commercial projects and plans, coordinating, executing, maintaining, and managing an effective field construction by utilizing the necessary labor, equipment, materials, tools, subcontractors, and other resources to effectively perform the scope of work within an allotted budget and time schedule. As a New Construction Estimator you will have flexibility over your own schedule!
Pay: Base Pay + Uncapped Commissions, 100k+ Target Compensation, Top Pay for Top Talent, + SIGN ON BONUS!
Compensation will depend on experience and licensing and will increase with skills and continued education
Hours: 7:30am - 4:30pm, Monday to Friday, occasional nights and weekends
Required Qualifications:
- 2+ Years Project Management experience
- Associate degree in related discipline
- Commercial HVAC Experience
- Commercial Plumbing Experience
- Construction management experience
- Knowledge of the construction process (RFI, RFP, Change orders etc.)
- Valid driver's license
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent computer skills (proficiency with MS Office)
- Strong attention to detail
- Well organized and ability to work independently
- Problem solving skills
- Positive Attitude
- Have a basic understanding of the Building process
- Excellent Communication skills
- Excellent Follow through with clients
- Willing and able to attend networking events on company behalf
- Have a strong understanding of Plumbing and HVAC systems.
- Have a desire to work with people
Desired Qualifications:
- 5+ years of Project Management experience
- Bachelor's or Associates degree in related discipline
- 5+ years' experience with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or other construction trades
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Extensive Knowledge of residential HVAC design
- Extensive knowledge in residential plumbing design
- Working construction code knowledge
- In depth understanding of the building process
- In depth understanding of a home's thermal envelope
- High problem-solving skills
- Energetic personality
- Well organized and ability to work independently
- Boiler and radiant heat design expertise
- Ability to budget labor for specific Plumbing and HVAC tasks
- Have in depth understanding of ACCA manual J, D and S
